Recently Decorations by Jelena was proud to take part in raising money for The Childrens Hospital Westmead in conjunction with 9Events and their Peter Pan Gala Ball - the team had managed to raise more than the target which everyone was very excited with.

So it's that time of year again when we reflect on the year that has passed, the highs, the lows, and the I don't knows! We would like to thank everyone (clients, friends, family and colleagues) who were part of our year, our wonderful adventures saw us theming events and weddings in some very beautiful settings. We've been to the fabulous Novotel North Beach a number of times and developed a wonderful relationship with the staff there - every time has been an absolute dream. We've been to so many amazing venues, but here are just a few of our favourites; Sydney's Center Point Tower, The Mint, The Sebel Pier One, The Westin, The Botanic Garden Restaurant, Doltone House Darling Harbour, The Star Room, WatersEdge and the historical Waterfront and Italian Village Restaurants just to name a few! We have travelled far, up and down the North and South Coasts, and we have travelled near Parramatta and surrounds - we have even travelled over the mountains in all our wonderful adventures. So thank you.
While we didn't win the ABIA award for best Decorator in 2010 we were incredibly humbled to have made it to top finalists and to have had the opportunity to mingle with some of Sydney's finest industry professionals. A big thank you to our wonderful clients who voted for us, we are very grateful for all that we have achieved in our very first year. We look forward to providing an even better experience in 2011 and the years to come with some breath taking events planned.
So on that note, we would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Be all that you can be and take care of each other.

The team here at DBJ is super excited to announce that Decorations by Jelena - with much thanks to their awesome clients - are top contenders to take out this years ABIA award for best Decorators in NSW. The team would like to say a very big heart felt thank you to all who voted, being nominated is enough to inspire everything we do in 2011 and beyond. This years winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on Monday December 13th - fingers and toes crossed!
